Lakeland Bus provides service from Boonton Borough to NY Port Authority in Midtown. During rush hour, the bus ride takes about 55 minutes.

Boonton Township students in public school for kindergarten through eighth grade attend Rockaway Valley School. For grades 9-12, students attend Mountain Lakes High School in Mountain Lakes Borough.
